Veggie Visionary: Sobelmans Pub & Grill
Known for big burgers and over-the-top Bloody Marys, Sobelmans Pub & Grill in Milwaukee, Wisconsin may seem like the last place you would go for veggie- friendly cuisine. But owner Dave Sobelman attributes much of his success to listening to his guests. That’s why he started menuing a veggie burger in 2009. Today, any burger on Sobelmans’ menu can be substituted for a veggie patty—and in typical Sobelmans fashion—you’ll find some other outlandish uses on his menu too.
